Gifts for the Kitchen

You Gotta Eat!

Looking for the perfect gift? Does you gift recipient have everything they need? Well, people who have everything still need to eat! Why not give them a gift for the kitchen?

Ice Cream Maker

Someone with a sweet tooth may enjoy an ice cream maker. They can dream up new concoctions, imitate desserts from their favorite brand, or just try new recipes. The health conscious consumer can even use the ice cream maker to make healthier alternatives to thier store-bought favorites (milk, eggs, yogurt, banana instead of cream).

Espresso Machine

With frothy espresso drinks costing four dollars each, your friends will save money by mixing them up at home. Whether they want a double shot of espresso, a steamy hot chocolate with kahlua, or a double caramel latte, their own espresso machine lets them try their own combinations. Best of all, they can mix up a drink for you the next time you visit!

Bread Maker

With their own bread machine, your gift recipients can make bread that is extra healthy, such as sugar-free bread, or extra indulgent, such as bacon and cheese bread. Either way, they will enjoy fresh baked, preservative-free bread.

Cookbook

A cookbook can be a great gift for someone new to the kitchen, such as a college student or a recent divorcee. It would also be nice for someone starting a new type of cooking, such as vegetarian or Asian cooking.

Hand Held Blender

A hand held blender is great for small portions of blended drinks, such as smoothies and shakes. It can also be used for small amounts of whipped cream or single servings of desserts, such as mousse. Perhaps the best use is for hot dishes, such as pureed soups, that would cool off too much in a traditional blender.

Cooking Classes

Cooking classes are a great gift for many reasons. For people just starting to cook, they can learn the basics. For people expanding their horizons, they can learn new types of recipes. For people wanting to socialize, they can meet new people.

Delicious!

Once you have given your friend a gift for the kitchen, be sure to follow up later. Maybe they will invite you over for one of their new food creations!
